It feels like I have been here for weeks, but it has been just 10 days since I arrived. The first weekend was great and I had a good time. We ended the working week with Czech beer Pilsner Urquell on the top floor of office and on Saturday I went for a party with Jonathan, Maria and Julie.
Everything is slightly different over here. The culture, the parties and the lifestyle is different. It took me 5 nights to get rid of the jetlag and ten days to understand that people walk on the left on the sidewalk.
I·m still sleeping at the hostel and have not found yet my own place.
Finally I got an Australian bank account at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. It took me probably 40 minutes to get the account and because I·m a student I don·t need to pay any fees at all (the first time that the ISIC card helped me). The TAX number that I need to get my salary is probably on it·s way.
I have decided that I will go on the end of October to the Whitsunday Island·s to take the scuba dive certificate. It will be great five days on an amazing place.
The usual temperature in Melbourne these days is around 15C during the day. Hopefully it will get soon warmer.
